Fitted and worked on my Brompton first time. Straightforward installation, manual instructions good, but I’d advise looking at a couple of the most recent installation videos first (YouTube) to get it right first time. Take your time, especially with the cable routing and controller positioning. Bit surprised how much kick I get from the motor when riding with it. Only one days use so yet to see how much range I get but impressed so far.

After much research I decided on the lvbu kit for my Brompton, with the bag battery, Bro low down mounting and LED display. Was a bit concerned about a delivery date, and some bad reviews. The kit arrived in approx 4 weeks, so 6/10 to shipping. Packaging was excellent. All components in nice boxes and well protected, I want to do it 10/10. Visually inspected all parts and checked off to their packing content sheet. Quality looked good, and everything included. Another 10/10. Spent several hours fitting as wanted to do a thorough job. Care is needed with Bromptons as cables can be trapped/stretched when the frame and stem fold. Now to function. It works great. Just back from a holiday in Cornwall. Hills are no longer an issue. Also, as I like to pedal hard, I found the battery range is impressive even after plenty of very steep hills. My wife has a KN conversion on her Brompton, and I can now keep up with her. I have one slight negative in that the extra weight of the whole bike. However, the overall experience of the kit did not really spoil the fun factor of my Brompton. So 9/10 for the kit function. So far, and pleased with my choice, and look forward to conquering many more Cornish hills.

I was skeptical at first b/c there are so many different types of e-bike conversion kits and the price always kept me away. Enter the lvbu assisted kit. less than $500 to turn my Brompton into an e-bike? It was too good to pass up—and I'm so glad I took the chance. The kit has revolutionized my biking experience. I commute to work and ride with my kids, it has made my bike rides so much more pleasant and effortless.
Installation wasn't too bad. It took me one hour. The only tricky part was getting the circular ring installed properly onto the frame. The fit on the frame was very tight and the ring isn't quite level, but I haven't had any problems after about 2 months of riding multiple times a week.
The ebike kit is an amazing product. Putting the battery on and taking it off is a breeze. The electrified wheel operates smoothly. The amount of power is great and I can turn the assist level up when I'm going uphill or am in a hurry. The wires integrate well with the existing wires and there are no issues when I fold the bicycle. Charging the battery is also painless. It's amazing and I'm so glad I took the leap to get a bike kit!

15mph on a Brompton without breaking into a sweat!
I've put more life into my Brompton, extended my range and can go up the steepest hills (Chilterns area) without having to dismount.
I'm pleased with it.
I'd be even more pleased if it would do 15mph up the steepest hills, but that might require a motor that wouldn't be road legal.
On a couple of undulating routes in the Chilterns, think hills again, the battery comfortably managed just over 15 miles, and still 50% charge left in the battery.

I fitted the 250w kit about 15 months ago to my 2022 Brompton the instructions were good and was easy to fit the kit and has made it a pleasure to ride the bike now at 70 years old I recommend this kit for a Brompton, the only one lvbu needs to improve now is the order to delivery time.

A wonderful bike trip to Santiago Ways with my Brompton and the lvbu ebike kit. Wouldn't make it without the assist of the kit when taking all the climbs up to 5000+ feet and solid glide down the hills on this 16" folding bike.

Great bit of kit, lot cheaper than the Brompton official bike, makes a real difference not arriving in the office all sweaty! Pretty easy to fit, you tube has plenty of advice videos.

I have an old Brompton (at least 20 years), which is heavy and, of course, adding the conversion motor makes it even heavier. Neverthless, at my age (70+), even with a little extra weight, I need all the help I can get and it works so well that it's given my old bike (and me!) a new lease of life - for me, strictly in summer. Highly recommended.

I have had my kit for around three years now . I find it works so well ; is. cheaper to run than my full electric bike , and my Brompton + lvbu conversion system is lighter than the fully electric bike .I totally recommend LVBU ??
