I had a BionX electric bike that worked very well. Sophisticated electronics, and very smooth progressive pressure sensitive support from the motor at the back. I sold it because I was fitter last year, and needed space too. My health is no so good this year, so I looked for a simpler (and way cheaper)alternative to fit my hybrid/road bike with a motor at the front, to make it easier to switch the original wheel back if I want to not use the motor. I checked the width of the fork, and that was OK before I ordered the wheel, it was delivered in around two months but worth waiting, the kit works well, the motor does help to top the hills in my area.

i choose the KF30S with the bottle battery finally. i frequently commute 25 miles to work in pennsylvania (we have many hills). This product does a great job and making this daunting commute on a bike doable. you do your body a favor as well as the earth by driving your car less.

The product is great, I like that the hub is made for the front wheel for easy installation. The price tag I feel is a little steep for just a 250 watt motor and basic battery...should be about $50 less to make it a good value. The throttle button should be slight larger for a better tactile feel to it. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the product.
With my knee and hip issues, this kit is a life-saver and I now have revived interest in bicycling once again!

When I arrive to a steep hill, the conversion motor saves the day by making my climb very comfortable. On flat roads, this kit make me pass bikes that are much lighter than my bike.

I have to admit I was skeptical of the product but after 8 months of using it I'm happy I purchased it. it does help on the hills in my area. I have a 2 year old boy who sits in front of me on a Weeride and we love biking together and the conversion kit helps me get us up the hills. All and all I'm happy with it and recommend it to other folks who enjoy biking like I do.

I am happy with the kit. it gives me good assistance going up hills.
I bought this so I can go to work and not be drenched in sweat in the morning
like I usually do when riding my road bike.
This would save me time by skipping the showers at work. my work is 11 miles
one way. If I don't push too hard on the pedals I get to work not sweaty/smelly.
With this kit I am always on the highest gear combination. I am happy with the electric assist - it helps on the hills, but it also needs you to still work by helping the motor with pedaling so you still get your exercise. This is not for the lazy rider who depends 100% on the motor to do all the work. If you don't help pedal your battery will not last as long. for my commute i have no problems with the battery running out of power.

I didn't use the motor a lot in Palm Springs but when I got away from the park 6, 7, or more miles I knew I could turn around if I got tired I could get back. I showed a lot of people and handed out some information about our motor. When I use the motor the most was in Portland and Vancouver, when I was visiting family, some of those hills I definitely needed to have a little bit of extra boost great product, love it don't stop producing....

I’m impressed with the ease of installation, quality of the product and battery life. I bought it for a 10mile commute on my road bike and have even gotten 20miles out of it (when also pedaling part of the time)

Great product and working to open the horizon up again for the 60 +. 90km bottle battery is awesome---- almost too much speed sometimes. DOn't get pulled over speedin!

It's great! No more excuses. Predictable commute time vs car.
I had a couple weeks last year where I was trying to beat my time every day. Wound up hurting a knee which kept me off the bike for about a week. Proper bike, pedaling style, and attitude adjustments helped. Adding the bike kit motor removed all but very bad weather as an excuse to take the car.

It was easy to install. (But I wish there was a presta valve option.) The 250w motor is strong enough for my purposes, to give that boost when you hit that nasty climb or your legs are burning. Anyway it's a pleasant experience.
